“My name is Terenz Sitchon, but my friends call me Benjo. I was born in the Philippines, moved to Canada when I was 4, then moved to America when I was 12. I’ve been an artist all my life, but I could never find the right style. Then I discovered printmaking. I’ve been printmaking for 5 years. Anime, manga, comics, and video games has been a huge part of my life. Music by Nujabes has also been an inspiration of a lot of my work. Traditional Japanese woodblock prints have been an inspiration for my work, but none of them inspire me as much as the work of Sean Star Wars, Brian Reedy, and Peter Santa-Maria. I believe everyone should be able to afford quality art with a reasonable prince.”
